These images are interesting because they are so up close and personal to the animal. Also, it’s with wild animals instead of domesticated ones. The angle seems to be straight on, but the animal is usually eating something. The background of all these photos are in the animal’s natural environment, which can show the dedication the photographer had if they wanted to be really close to wild animals. With these photos, you can almost see some emotion on the animal’s faces, as well as the details in the fur. I have seen pictures like these with dogs and cats, but I don’t usually see them with wild animals. Most of the time they just make the animal look cute by having them play with something, or they use puppies/kittens to attract the viewer.

Capturing these types of animals up close is unique. These types of photos are not something you see everyday. The photographer was able to capture so much emotion and feeling. That is what makes them compelling.
These photographs are all taken from the animal’s eye level. All of the animals are framed in a way so that they are in the dead center of the photo.
