Because the skyline is big but in the water drops it looks small. probably a Macro lens. it would be diffictult to do this with a skyline but maybe with something else. I did something like this with skittles,

  2. The photographer used a macro lense to take pictures of waterdrops with buildings reflecting off of them. This makes it look like the water drop is rather large because it contains a big building inside it. Thought wise, it makes me think about how small we really are compared to our universe. For my own work, I might try playing with something related to this. It would seem fun to shoot with a macro lense.

  3. Scale and proportion play into these images by the size of the rain drops then the refection in the rain drop.
The kind of lens that was probably used was a micro lens.
Thoughts that came through my head while looking at these photos was that this has to be photo-shopped but its not so i was very amazed.
Some ideas i get would be to like try and capture reflections and have it be clear without using Photoshop

Scale and proportion is used in the raindrop. The buildings (which are massive) are made to look like they are in a water droplet (which is very small). A macro lens was needed to take these photographs since the water drops are very small. This is a really cool idea. I love the way the reflections are rounded. This gives me ideas to use reflections in my photos to create an illusion.
