What is your overall reaction to these photos? How was Mcmennamy able to create these juxtapositions? What ideas does this give you for your own work?
I really like how odd these pictures are. He didn’t really try to make the objects look melded together, but it actually works really well. Mcmennamy had to take 2 different photos so he could turn them into one. In one of them, he took a picture of a lightbulb. In the other; a cracked egg. All he had to do was to meld them together somehow, and then he had his final image. I think this gives me ideas to try to think outside of the box. He has his point across, but he didn’t make the image look absolutely perfect and heavily photoshopped.

These are amazing photos and I love how everything fits together perfectly. He created these juxtapositions by putting two pictures together that aligned perfectly. This gives me lots of ideas to combine multiple images.
My overall reaction is that i like the photos there very different and unique.
