I think it’s by how colorful each one is, it makes them compelling. There is also a incredible amount of detail, and a focus on what’s in the background instead of the foreground. It also shows different parts of the world that some people wouldn’t be able to see, or get the chance to see.
What these photos so compelling to me would have to be the colors and the shapes. There’s nature, then there’s a compact of stuff like people and buildings.
