  1. There is a sense of anger in these photos for some reason. The clouds have a angry vibe to them because of the texture and shape they have. There are things like houses and light posts, and they look incredibly tiny compared to the lightning strikes that a few of the images have. It makes you feel tiny and weak. The texture of the clouds is showing how me how violent the storms in the photos are, and creates a feeling of doom. For my own work, it would be interesting to take pictures of storm clouds, but that would be very difficult for me to accomplish from where I’m at, as well as very dangerous. I do think that using rough textures would add something really interesting to my pictures.

A dark and eerie mood is created through these images. Scale and proportion play a big role in these images. The size of the clouds compared to the objects on the ground make the storm look even bigger than it actually is. The texture create a lot of mood and shapes that you don’t usually see in nature. This gave me an idea to use shapes and textures from nature in my own photos.

The mood created in these pictures are very dark and depressing from the clouds and the lightening, the scale and proportion is very zoomed out. The texture of the photos are very smooth but rugged. to shoot more clouds and naturalistic things.
