He drew pictures that made use of the shadows, as well as manipulate the angle of how the light hit the object. This is creative because he had to play with what lighting he had, and it was mainly trial and error until he found the shape he wanted. I could do the same thing, but not use any drawings to enhance the picture. I don’t really know what I could take from this though.
