  1. I get sadness from all these pictures due to how it’s unsaturated and in high contrast. Also, the lack of people in the photos hint at isolation as well. With shadow and contrast, it adds some negative emotion and makes the image a bit scarier in a weird way. It forces you to look at the picture more because you know it wouldn’t really look like that in real life.

  2. What moods or emotions do you get from these photos? What work does shadow and contrast play in these photos?

    I am getting a “Skull Island” vibe from the movie ‘King Kong’ in these pictures, The shadows and contrast make the ocean very dark and mysterious, and the same with the rocks in the pictures. it defiantly gives a depressing feeling.

  3. these pictures are really dark and create a really dark mood. SHadows plays a big part in these adding a lot of mood and spookiness to the pictures
